For me it was all rock most of the time, with occasional listens to the soul station and of course the weekly catch-up of Casey's American Top 40 on a third station. It says right on the cover that these are 22 of 1982's Best Hits. I'm guessing the majority of these songs were Top 40 hits though I wasn't listening to that radio format any longer by 1982.
